Christening and Demo Cruise Guardian

Braveheart Shipping and Javelin International celebrated the christening of their survey and crew tender vessel Guardian on 22 June 2012. Caroline Hakvoort led the ceremony, which was followed by a demo cruise on the IJsselmeer near Urk, the Netherlands. The vessel cruised at a speed of 21.3kn and wind force 4-5, whilst the multibeam gave a clear image of the sea floor without being blurred. The movie is Dutch spoken.

Demo of RIEGL Airborne Bathy Scanner in Camcopter UAV

It's not an AUV but an UAV. So an unmanned vehicle, but in the air instead of underwater. This movie shows a demonstration of the bathymetric laser scanning capabilities of the RIEGL VQ-820-GU hydrographic airborne sensor in reality.
