There are as many errors and omissions in an ENC as there would be on any chart. The old "garbage in garbage out"is true in this case. The ENC is only as accurate as the data used to build the file. Hopefully that would mean very few as hydrographers and cartographers are very careful in compiling and gathering their data. Barry M. Lusk - 04/05/2008 - 17:08 |

Hydro International continues to offer all of the marine science industry a marvelous amount of useful information and I enjoy this publication very much. Keep up the good work.
I would like to see some articles on ENC and ECDIS as that is my area of interest. Nautical charting remains, in my mind, the very basis of hydrography. Captain Cook and I agree on this point I think. Barry M. Lusk - 03/04/2008 - 15:36 |
