Advances in Ocean Wave Monitoring Conference Call for Papers

RS Aqua is organising the Advances in Ocean Wave Monitoring Conference, to be held at The Royal Institution, London (UK) on 21 October 2015. This one-day user-led event is for all those involved in the science of ocean wave measurement. To be considered for a presentation, RS Aqua is encouraging to submit an abstract before 14 September 2015.

The focus of the conference will be on applications, technologies and wave measurement methods, and will be of interest to those in analytical, operational or managerial roles within the research and marine service industries.

Conference Programme

The day will be structured around a morning presentation session discussing maritime and engineering applications, and an afternoon session on data networking, analysis and the development of novel technologies. The event will be chaired by Dr Colin Grant (CG Metocean Consulting Ltd, formerly BP), with a keynote address by Jon Upton (Shell). Further speakers are confirmed from CEFAS, DNV GL, Fugro, Premier Oil, University of Southampton, RBR & WHOI, with more to follow.
