Inception Class USV to Be Launched

During Ocean Business 2017, Swathe Systems will be presenting the new Inception Class Mark II unmanned surface vehicle (USV). It will also be demonstrated in on-water demos during the event, which is taking place from 4-6 April 2017 in Southampton, UK.

Alongside this USV there will also be equipment demonstrations of the Merlin marine mobile laser scanner from Renishaw and singlebeam sonar equipment from CEE HydroSystems.

BeamWorX will be giving a demonstration of their fully automated multibeam echosounder patch test calculator ‘AutoPatch’ as well as their cleaning and validating software ‘AutoClean’ at noon on Wednesday 5 April.  Interested professionals are requested to book early at the Swathe stand U5 as places are limited.

Swathe Services are also proud to announce that the Ports of Jersey survey department will be showing off their new R2SONIC 2024 multibeam sonar, SBG Apogee INS and Renishaw Merlin laser scanning capability from their pilot vessel Rival.  Numerous ‘on water’ demonstration sessions will be conducted each day and places can be booked at the R2SONIC (J8), SBG (E5c) and Swathe (U5) exhibition stands.
