Oceaneering Expands AUV Operations into West Africa
Oceaneering International, headquartered in Houston, USA, is expanding its presence for Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) survey services to the West African region. They are mobilising a 3,000 metre-rated AUV, which is capable of performing deepwater geophysical hazard and pipeline inspection surveys.
Oceaneering currently serves the U.S Gulf of Mexico with a fleet of commercial AUVs, designed for high resolution and efficient survey operations in water depths reaching 4,500 metres. This AUV provides clients with the necessary deepwater survey capabilities for pipeline surveys, as-built surveys, block surveys, and pipeline inspections.
