RD Instruments ‘ADCPs in Action’ Users Conference Returns to San Diego in 2005
After hosting a conference in Europe in 2004, RD Instruments’ popular ADCPs in Action Users Conference will once again return to San Diego, California on 4-6 April, 2005.
For those unfamiliar with this event, ADCPs in Action is a forum devised by RDI several years ago to bring the oceanographic community together for a lively exchange of information between Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) and Doppler Velocity Log (DVL) users, industry experts, and third party manufacturers. This users conference continues to attract industry experts from around the globe to share their experience and address the topics deemed most important to today’s ADCP/DVL users.
RDI’s ‘05 event will be comprised of three simultaneous tracks including: water resources flow measurement applications; coastal/oceanographic waves/current profiling applications; and precision navigation applications. Content includes presentations from over 30 industry experts, product/application mini-camps, users’ forums, data analysis clinics, new product introductions, poster paper sessions, and third party solutions. This three-day event also includes numerous breaks and social events (including an RDI Golf Tournament) designed to encourage networking and the free flowing exchange of ideas and information.
