Registration Open for OI China

Six months before the inaugural Oceanology International (OI) China 2013 opens at INTEX in Shanghai (from 3 to 5 September 2013), online registration is open. Attendance of the exhibition is at no charge to anyone with a business-related or professional interest in ocean science and marine technology in all its forms.

Exhibition director James Coleman of Reed Exhibitions is looking forward to welcoming marine scientists, maritime specialists, academics, researchers and those working in government departments and commercial companies encompassing a wide range of interests from aquaculture to offshore oil and gas; subsea engineering to telecommunications; coastal engineering to marine renewable energy to this first Oceanology International 2013 China exhibition. The equipment on display in the exhibition hall, and the associated technology presentations will meet the needs of all visitor groups, as well as offer numerous networking opportunities for Chinese and international professionals.

Organised by Reed Exhibitions, whose long-running Oceanology International is held in London every two years, Oceanology International China 2013 is endorsed by the Chinese Society of Oceanography (CSO) whose Ocean Technology Branch is co-event manager. The exhibition will feature exhibitors from 14 countries, including international companies such as Reson, Sonardyne, Kongsberg Maritime and Teledyne; and national pavilions from Atlantic Canada, UK and USA.

Visitors will have a rare opportunity to meet equipment manufacturers and service providers from all over the world covering the full range of marine science and ocean technology, as well as learn first-hand about the latest technological advancements.

The Society for Underwater Technology (SUT), with its long and unbroken history of involvement with the Oceanology International series of events, is the Learned Society Patron of Oceanology International China 2013; and the show is supported by UK Trade & Investment and its service delivery partner, the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC).
