Two New Metoc Directors

Metoc plc has recently appointed two new directors to its board to support the continued growth of its technical and project management services. Chris Mooij is currently Business Manager of the Water Group, and he will continue to head this Group. He will be responsible for further expanding Metoc capabilities and services to provide strategic and technical solutions for operators, regulators and industry. His appointment comes after serving thirteen years with Metoc, where he has been instrumental in the development of the Metoc Environmental Design Optimisation (EDO) process.
Dr Mike Osborne has been with Metoc since 1992, responsible for developing the company's capabilities in spatial data management and GIS for coastal and offshore applications. Recently, Mike has worked closely with the UK Hydrographic Office to develop SeaZone, a new data service for marine GIS applications. He is Business Manager of SeaZone and will continue to work with other Metoc Business Groups to increase penetration of informatics services in existing and new market sectors.
