Veripos Appointments

Veripos has appointed Dr David Russell as senior GNSS technical specialist with responsibility for product design and development as head of its newly established GNSS Technical Group. A former Research Fellow at Nottingham University’s Institute of Engineering Surveying & Space Geodesy (IESSG), Dr Russell joins the company from Thales GeoSolutions, with which he was Technical Analyst involved in research and development of GNSS initiatives. He is a member of the Royal Institute of Navigation and the Institution of Navigation.
Also appointed as GNSS infrastructure manager of the new Veripos Infrastructure Group, with responsibility for implementation of new services and management and enhancement of existing ones, is Bobby Johnson. Mr Johnson likewise joins the company from Thales GeoSolutions, with which he was latterly technical manager of its Signals Division, responsible for management of SkyFix and Landstar DGPS networks, together with their associated control centres.
