Biography

Andy Plater is professor of Physical Geography and head of Department of Geography and Planning at the University of Liverpool. His research focuses on coastal geomorphology and environmental change, risk to coastal infrastructure from flooding due to sea-level rise and storms, and providing evidence for sustainable management of coastal resources.
