Bas de Kruif received his MSc and PhD in control engineering at Twente University, the Netherlands. He has been working between industry and academia ever since, and enjoys bringing cutting edge solution to practical problems. For the last few years he has been working on maritime applications within MARIN's Autonomy and Decision Support team.
