Biography

Fantina Madricardo received her MSc in physics in 1999 at the University of Padua, Italy and her PhD in Theoretical Physics in 2002 at the University of Hamburg, Germany. In 2008, she was post-doc fellow at the Pierre et Marie Curie University in Paris, France and since 2009 she is researcher at the Institute of Marine Sciences of the Italian National Research Council (CNR-ISMAR) in Venice. Her main interests are underwater acoustics and geophysics in extremely shallow water, coastal geomorphology and geomorphometry. She currently leads the underwater acoustic group of CNR-ISMAR in Venice.
