John Church

John Church is an oceanographer with Australia’s Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) Marine and Atmospheric Research and the Antarctic Climate and Ecosystems Cooperative Research Centre. For his sea-level research, he was awarded the 2006 Roger Revelle Medal by the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO, was the recipient of a CSIRO Medal for Research Achievement in 2006 and won Australia’s Eureka Prize for Scientific Research in 2007.
