Sr (Surveyor) Saiful Nizam Mustafa, is a member of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM), a professional member of The Institution of Geospatial and Remote Sensing Malaysia (IGRSM), a member of the Malaysia Hydrographic Society (MyHS), and a member of the Geo-information Sub-committee of Geomatics Committee of International Oil and Gas Producers (iOGP). He is a graduate of Surveying (Geo-informatics) from University Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He has been involved in geo-informatics and geomatics related matters in marine and hydrographic surveys since 2001. He expanded his experience in the oil and gas industry by joining PETRONAS in 2008. Prior to that he was one of the GIS team members for a regional oil and gas services contractor, a GIS team leader and data manager for 3 national interest projects. Currently, he is the Geo-information section manager & subject matter focal person, responsible for providing geo-information solutions for PETRONAS E&P (Exploration and Production) covering domestic and international operations.
