Biography

Stuart Caie leads the 3D Coastal Mapping Programme at Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ). Originally from the UK, Stuart has over 30 years’ experience in the hydrographic profession, delivering innovative approaches to mapping remote and complex regions. He joined LINZ in 2006 as a hydrographic surveyor, leading the National Hydrographic Survey Programme, mapping the seafloor to update the nautical charts for New Zealand.
