Timo Constantin Gaida received a PhD from the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands in 2020, for his research on innovative methods for sonar-based seabed mapping. He worked as a postdoc on acoustic biodiversity mapping in offshore wind farms in a collaboration between TU Delft and The Rich North Sea programme, and in 2021 he joined the TNO Acoustics and Sonar department as a researcher, focusing on underwater acoustic-related topics.
