Applanix Releases its Next Generations POS LV System
Applanix announced today the release of its next generation POS LV. Based on Applanix' proven tightly-coupled, integrated inertial technology, the next generation POS LV is designed to provide uninterrupted positioning and orientation information in areas where GPS reception is compromised or unavailable. The system is engineered for a wide variety of land vehicle applications, such as road profiling, pavement analysis, and asset management.
The next generation POS LV incorporates the latest in Trimble survey grade GPS receivers. Provisions for new sensor input and output have also been included, such as an auxiliary GPS, additional distance measurement instrumentation, and COM ports together with an analogue I/O capability.
