Applanix Solutions on Display at Intergeo

Applanix presents in its booth (C1-1537) Position and Orientation Systems (POS) for airborne, land, and marine surveying. Applanix will also introduce visitors to the latest POSTrack Flight Management System technology as well as the company’s advanced digital aerial camera solution, the DSS 322. Designed for superior accuracy under the most demanding active-motion conditions, Applanix POS systems measure and record the robust attitude, heading, roll, pitch, yaw, position, and velocity data needed for vehicle based surveying applications. By integrating precision GPS with superior inertial technology, POS enables geospatial projects to be completed more efficiently, effectively, and economically. The Applanix POS solution is an important part of the company’s newest and complete DSS 322 aerial camera solution. The DSS Digital Sensor System is a ready-to-use, directly georeferenced, medium-format, airborne digital camera system. A mapping-quality alternative to large-format digital cameras, the DSS 322 is the leading digital imaging answer for aerial surveying and remote sensing applications that require a rapid yet cost-effective solution. Guiding the DSS 322 (or acting as a standalone flight management solution) is the new POSTrack system, the first fully integrated, real time direct georeferencing flight management system available. Intergeo 2006 will be held 10-12 October 2006, in Munich, Germany, and presents a focus on geoinformation through diversified geospatial avenues, including the latest geodetical instrumentation and software, photogrammetry, remote sensing, geo base data capture/provision, cartographic, and GIS application developments.
