ChartCo Announces Upgrade to MetManager Service

ChartCo has announced an upgrade to its MetManager service. The new version will include improved weather modelling, 12 hours forecasting intervals and high-resolution maps with a choice of projections. The weather routeing facility now allows the user to set No-Go Areas, Thresholds for wave height and wind speed and ETA Constraints. Routes are stored in XML format and may be exchanged with other systems.
Twice daily broadcasts of the synopsis and forecast will be available towards the end of the year.
Access to the service is be fully inclusive fixed cost subscription agreements. The broadcast facility allows large areas of the globe to be covered without the restrictions of files sizes and variable cost found with e-mail based systems.
