CoastGIS 2011 Conference Update

The programme for the CoastGIS 2011 Conference is nearly complete, with 91 abstracts received and accepted for oral presentations plus sixteen posters. Contributions have been received from 35 nations from around the globe, plus five international organisations, including the European Environment Agency (EEA), the European Commission's DG Joint Research Centre (JRC), UNEP GRID-A, ICES, and UNESCO's International Oceanographic Commission (IOC).

Early Bird Registration ends on 20th June, for those wishing to take advantage of the discounted conference fee, which includes attendance at the conference, full documentation, the formal reception at Oostende's famous Fort Napoleon and a unique ‘medieval dining' experience in the historic Flemish city of Bruges.
