Crane Vessel Building Delay

Heerema Marine Contractors expects the Basic Design of its new build crane vessel to be completed in early 2009. Given the global economic developments and its effects on the international oil and gas industry, the decision to construct a new build vessel can not be made until market conditions improve.

The current oil price and economic situation are not favorable for making major investment and financing decisions.
