Echosounders for US Navy

Knudsen Engineering Ltd has received a volume order from the US Naval Oceanographic Office at the Stennis Space Centre (Mississippi) for eight 320BR deepwater echosounders, plus spares kits. These instruments are two-channel (3.5/12kHz), rack-mounted, high-power systems used for full-ocean depth survey. Using a Windows interface data display, the system incorporate chirp and correlation processing to achieve low noise and high-resolution sub-bottom profiles.
