Edgetech Demos and Training

EdgeTech will be conducting in-water demonstrations and classroom training on their latest side-scan sonar technology and combined bathymetry systems at Ocean Business in Southampton, UK, from 5th to 7th April 2011. From the full product line of side-scan sonar, sub-bottom profilers, deep tows, ROV or UUV sonar systems and swath bathymetry systems, EdgeTech will be demonstrating two of the newest products in their extensive series of sonar systems.

The 4125 side-scan sonar and the 4600 combined side scan sonar/swath bathymetry system will be demonstrated at the conference.  Both systems have continued to evolve using unique and innovative ways to provide customers the best underwater imagery possible.  These incentive can be booked by visiting Stand B9 to sign up for an in-water demo, schedule a classroom training session, or just to share a glass of wine on the “wine trail”!

4600  (classroom training)

EdgeTech’s 4600 combines the high resolution 2D capabilities of a side scan sonar with the 3D imagery of a multi-beam echosounder. The result is a highly efficient, cost effective survey tool that produces real-time high resolution 3D maps of the seafloor.  Stop by and see some of the new 540kHz high resolution data; it is incredible.

4125  (on-water demos)

EdgeTech’s new 4125 side scan sonar system was designed with both the Search & Recovery (SAR) and shallow water survey communities in mind.   Two dual simultaneous frequency sets are available for the 4125 depending on the application, making it the perfect tool for shallow water survey applications, offering a great combination of range and resolution.

Edgetech is at Stand B9.
