EIVA launches solution for NaviSuite project data sharing and viewing

EIVA recently released NaviSuite Cloud Viewer, a cloud-based thin client designed for NaviSuite users to easily share project data with their clients via a web browser. This innovative solution eliminates the need to download third party programmes and provides robust data visualization capabilities for both operators and end clients.

The viewer allows operators to offer end clients the ability to easily navigate projects and to view DTMs, 3D models and point clouds from any angle, as well as observation logs with synchronized images. EIVA’s server provides powerful 3D model rendering for high-quality visualizations regardless of dataset size.

Gaining insight into hydrospatial data

Ole Kristensen, vice president software development at EIVA, stated: “The size of datasets collected by NaviSuite users during surveys and inspections is rapidly increasing due to technological advancements in sensors, automation and data fusion. Copying over these datasets whenever they must be moved takes time and costs operators and end clients local storage space. Further, some end clients may not be able to download third party software to view the results – and they therefore miss out on using visualization tools to better understand the data delivered.”

NaviSuite Cloud users can also benefit from project management in the front end. Users can manage and share projects with colleagues and end clients easily, simply by sending a link or by defining who can access the project. The viewer is available as a yearly licence, with three plans priced according to disk usage (50GB, 200GB and 500GB). This release is the first step, with more extensive features to be provided in future variants of NaviSuite Cloud.

NaviSuite Cloud Viewer enables operators to offer end clients easy navigation of projects and viewing of DTMs, 3D models and point clouds from any angle, and synchronized images with observation logs.
