Experience Live Deep Trekker Product Demonstrations at Oi18

Deep Trekker remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) are transforming ocean science and discovery while contributing to societal awareness of the environment. As we discover more and more about the Earth, the desire to understand what we cannot see beneath the waves is greater than ever. Deep Trekker will take the stage at Oceanology International, from 13-15 March 2018 in London, UK, to demonstrate its latest underwater robotic systems.

With significant enhancements to its design, Deep Trekker is continuously expanding its range of operations to meet the changing needs of the ocean and science community. In addition to the high-definition, 4K resolution camera, the DTG2 and DTX2 has integrated Blueprint multibeam imaging sonar technology and an ultra-short baseline locating system for underwater acoustic positioning. These innovations bring new capabilities to Deep Trekker ROVs by providing obstacle avoidance, target recognition, greater visibility and spatial awareness underwater.

Discoveries made by Deep Trekker ROVs

Equipped with a patented pitching system for increased manoeuvrability and sonar angling flexibility, the DTG2 and DTX2 can perform advanced inspections in the harshest of ocean environments, providing continuous real-time discoveries to physical, biological and geological ocean realms. The discoveries made by Deep Trekker ROVs help to support scientific research, marine operations, fishing and aquaculture, environmental studies, ocean policy and defence.

All attendees at Oceanology International are welcome to join Deep Trekker at the Royal Victoria Dock to witness first-hand how the company plans to leverage its robotic systems to capture emerging oceanographic phenomena. Through the development of innovative technologies, Deep Trekker continues to deliver affordable, compact and portable, multidisciplinary ROVs that significantly broaden our knowledge of the blue planet.

Join Deep Trekker at Booth E600 to participate in live ROV product demonstrations at the Royal Victoria Dock. The dockside demos will take place on 13 March (14:30-15:15), 14 March (14:30-15:15) and 15 March (14:30-15:15). This is the must-attend industry event for anyone with a passion for underwater discovery and exploration of our vast oceans, lakes and rivers.
