FSI Ships 2D-ACM Current Meter to Peru

Falmouth Scientific, Inc has announced the shipment of their 2D ACM Current Meter to Velfi-Cosapi Consortium in Peru. The FIS 2D ACM Current Meter will be installed at the ship loading berth at the Camisea Upstream facilities in Pisco, Peru.
The Berth is a new facility to be located 3 kilometres offshore in Pisco Bay and will be used to load diesel, naphtha and refrigerated propane and butane to ocean-going tankers.
The 2D-ACM uses an acoustic phase-shift technology to measure a point velocity. The highly accurate 2D-ACM comes equipped with internal data logging, internal lectronic compass and tilt sensors. It also has the capability of adding a CTD module and can log up to two analog inputs from external sensors (e.g. DO, OBS, Fluorometer, Transmissometer, etc.).
