Fugro acquires Fugro Jacques GeoSurveys

Fugro has purchased the 30% minority holding in Fugro Jacques GeoSurveys, based in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, from Stantec Consulting. The company will in future operate under the name of Fugro GeoSurveys and has a track record in offering the complete range of Fugro's marine survey and marine geotechnical services to its Canadian based and international clients.

Fugro has now full ownership of Fugro Jacques GeoSurveys Inc., which will enable Fugro to further expand the range of its services in Canada. The company has a staff of 80 professionals and annual revenues of around USD15 million.
