Fugro Geonics Acquires a Survey Vessel for India

On 21st December 2004, Fugro Geonics Pty. Ltd. acquired a former diving support vessel from M/s Khalifa A. Algosaibi Diving and Marine Services, Bahrain. The vessel, formerly named Algosaibi 23 has been converted to a survey vessel sailing under Indian Flag and is re-named Geo Endeavour. This new acquisition will give Fugro Geonics an enhanced capability in the Indian Oil and Gas market that is expected to be buoyant for the next four to five years. The vessel will also be used by other Fugro operating companies around the region as demand for quality vessels meeting international safety standards outstrips supply.
