Gardline Orders Dual Frequency Side Scan from GeoAcoustics

Gardline Geosurvey placed an order for their 23rd and 24th Dual Frequency Side Scan Survey systems from GeoAcoustics. The Dual Frequency system enters service with every major offshore operator and gaining widespread use with many navies, research organisations and equipment rental companies.
The side scan has undergone various evolutions since its introduction including the optional addition of attitude sensors, and a tracking facility. The electronics have been upgraded to keep pace with modern technology and the transducers have been modified, but essentially it has maintained its reputation as a dependable, high quality versatile survey instrument.
The system can be used with any top end processing system and at the sub-sea end can be added to the GeoChirp or the GeoPulse to achieve a combined side scan/sub bottom profiling capability.
