Hydroid Receives Order From the NATO Undersea Research Centre

Hydroid Inc. announce that they have received an order from the NATO Undersea Reseach Centre (NURC) in La Spezia (Italy) for two REMUS AUV Systems. NATO Undersea Research Centre has been actively involved for several years in the uses and technology of AUVs. While contributing to state of the art AUV performance through sensor and algorithm research, the Centre has recently undertaken the task of assessing the value of commercially available AUVs for military applications.
The procurement of the two REMUS systems from Hydroid will enable the Centre to participate in NATO exercises aimed at transitioning the use of AUV technology into NATO Navies.
