Iver3 with Rowe DVL for US Navy

The US Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) has recently awarded a contract for an Iver3 AUV. The system will include several options for the Iver3, including the Rowe Technologies (RTI) SeaPilot 600kHz Doppler Velocity Log with ADCP.

The RTI’s SeaPilot family of DVLs represents one of the recent products including a compact form factor and powerful electronics. It is capable of producing precise bottom referenced velocity and/or current profile measurements for ROVs, AUVs and other manned and unmanned submersibles. For the integration in the Iver3, RTI supplied four individual piston transducers along with compact electronics to integrate into the AUV.
