iXBlue at OI China 2013

iXBlue, headquartered in France, will have a strong presence at the Oceanology International 2013 exhibition to be held at Intex Shanghai Exhibition Center, China, from 3 to 5 September 2013. Visitors to the iXBlue stand (#B25) will quickly appreciate the value of its expertise in products and integrated solutions.

The company is to present a variety of products

  • Sub-bottom profilers: ECHOES, energy efficient and compact enabling high resolution surveys in various operating conditions (lake, shallow and deep waters), will be shown with DELPH data acquisition and geophysical interpretation software.
  • Acoustic positioning systems: GAPS, portable and robust USBL global acoustic positioning system, OCEANO acoustic releases and POSIDONIA II ultra-deep and long-range USBL will illustrate the acoustic positioning product range.
  • Inertial navigation systems (INS): HYDRINS, a high performance INS for hydrography, ROVINS, a combined survey-grade full featured INS specifically designed for offshore survey and construction works, OCTANS, a solid-state strapdown gyrocompass and motion sensor based on iXBlue’s fibre-optic gyroscope (FOG) technology and PHINS 6000, a high-accuracy subsea inertial measurement unit are part of the INS range.

Also, integrated solutions will be available in the booth.

  • Subsea positioning integrated solutions: using PHINS 6000 inertial navigation system with RAMSES synthetic baseline acoustic positioning and data fusion techniques, the new ComMet subsea metrology system offers massive reduction of vessel time with no compromise on performance.
  • Integrated survey solutions: seabed mapping solution with deep towed SAMS products, the new synthetic aperture mapping sonar for very deep water. SAMS-DT6000 is the new tool on the market to bring improved productivity and data quality for deep sea survey based on iXBlue’s unrivalled experience in sonar, navigation, underwater positioning and data processing technologies. It enables very high productivity surveys by improving the coverage rate per hour with constant high resolution on the total swath.
