iXSea launches HYDRINS

iXSea launched HYDRINS, a new real time solution for hydrographic surveyors.
A navigation system which interfaces with a multibeam sounder HYDRINS provides real time, high accuracy bathymetric data which is suitable for all surveys especially multibeam. Designed based on iXSea’s unique expertise in the field of inertial products it has a real time management system for occasions when there is GPS drop out, this algorithm computes position (less than 1 meter in 1 minute) during the GPS downtime.
HYDRINS provides high accuracy for H/R/P (0.02°/0.01°/0.01°) which improves the total error budget of the measurements, additionally the data accuracy of position, heading, attitude and motion is in real-time. A SAFE HEAVE filter, which is self adaptable provides heave in a real time management system which also prevents height artefacts. There is no need for post treatment of data.
Easy to install and operate HYDRINS is extremely versatile in terms of compatibility with all leading multibeam manufacturers and all leading GPS manufacturers.
HYDRINS is available as a stand alone product and is also available as a complete survey package.
