Lilley & Gillie Acquire 50% of PC Maritime

John Lilley & Gillie Ltd is making a strategic investment in marine software company PC Maritime. Lilley & Gillie are acquiring 50% of PC Maritime, with 50% retained by founders and owners David & Anne Edmonds.
The agreement exploits the natural synergy between the two companies. Lilley & Gillie (with sister companies DPM (UK) Ltd and DPM (Singapore) Pte) is engaged in chart supply and navigation instrument manufacture with worldwide distribution; PC Maritime’s core product, Navmaster, is a proven electronic chart system used by leading shipmanagers and owners. The combination provides a complete electronic navigation package of chart data, ECS or ECDIS software and hardware, putting Lilley & Gillie in a strong position to assist shipowners and managers during the transition period from paper to digital navigation.
