Meridian Chartware Wins UKHO Contract

Meridian Chartware Limited was awarded a contract in 2003 by the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) to design and develop in conjunction with both the UKHO and the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) an electronic chart training package and a low cost entry electronic chart plotter.
The Chart Plotter, was launched at the London Boat Show at Excel in January 2004 and is available for sale from mid March 2004. 25,000 copies of the training package will be distributed to all students on the RYA navigation course from September 2004.
