Metocean Offshore Contract

Metocean Services International (MSI) and PT Pageo Utama (PAGEO) have signed a new two year agreement pertaining to the exclusive provision of Metocean services in Indonesia at Oceanology International 08. The agreement builds on the existing relationship between both companies where their complementary services and experience in the oil and gas industry will enable them to secure and execute Metocean projects to the offshore industry of Indonesia.

Under this agreement, MSI will provide the sales interface and conduct the actual services and provide all the associated technical support. MSI, continuing with its commitment to build local capacity, will also train PAGEO personnel 'in situ' on projects with the intention of training them to a level of expertise to enable them to undertake the field work themselves. PAGEO will provide positioning/navigation services, local logistical support, expertise and knowledge; and the marketing interface for the provision of Metocean services to their existing and new clients working in the offshore industry of Indonesia.

Pageo is a fast growing Indonesian based service company founded in late 2004. The company primarily focuses on offshore survey, positioning and a range of subsea services in support of the offshore oil & gas and construction industries.

Formed in 2003, MSI provides the entire range of oceanographic and meteorological services internationally to the oil and gas industry, coastal engineers, dredging companies and port authorities.  MSI has a management team that brings together over 40 years of experience in the industry.
