Ministerial Visit for Atlas Elektronik UK

Atlas Elektronik UK hosted a visit by the Minister for Defence Equipment, Support and Technology, Mr Philip Dunne, to its Winfrith, Dorset, site on 4 July 2013. Mr Dunne was accompanied by South Dorset MP, Mr Richard Drax. Mr Dunne and Mr Drax met the company chairman, Rear Admiral Nigel Guild, and managing director, Dr Antoni Mazur. They were given a tour of the site including unique acoustic test facilities and the submarine sonar manufacturing suite.

They were also briefed on Atlas Elektronik’s support to the Ministry of Defence allied with a growing export business. Atlas Elektronik UK is pleased to be one of the major employers in the South Dorset area and is currently undertaking a recruitment drive as a consequence of its growth.
