MMT Enters Into a Four-year Framework Agreement With TenneT

MMT have signed a four-year framework agreement with TenneT. The framework agreement runs from 2016 to 2020 and MMT has been selected for geophysical and geotechnical investigations both offshore and nearshore. The area to be surveyed is the electrical grid connection of offshore wind farms within German territorial waters in the Northern Sea to the German onshore extra high voltage transmission network.

Stefan Eliasson, MMT´s CEO, commented on the contract award and said that MMT have worked for TenneT for many years. MMT have now included a wide range of vessels such as Stril Explorer, Franklin, SeaBeam and chartered options and together with the team of marine survey experts, MMT are offering a complete set-up for TenneT’s marine survey projects within this framework.

MMT has recently been awarded two call-off contracts within the framework agreement, including geophysical and geotechnical services. The work will be conducted with MMT’s ROV and survey vessels Franklin and IceBeam and nearshore vessel SeaBeam.
