Neptune Marine Services Positioning Contract
Veripos, UK, has been awarded a three-year exclusive contract by Neptune Marine Services (NMS) of Perth, Western Australia, for provision of services in support of its worldwide operations involving engineering solutions carried out on behalf of oil and gas, marine and renewable energy concerns. The contract covers the provision of Veripos’s Standard GPS augmentation service in addition to its Ultra and Apex2 precise point positioning facilities, the latter using both GPS and Glonass constellations.
All three services will in turn be supported by Veripos’s Verify QC processing software for real-time and post-processing assessment of data.
Neptune, one of Australia’s subsea engineering organisations, has additional bases in South East Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Through its survey division, Neptune Geomatics, the company provides rig positioning, geophysical, geotechnical, construction support and data management services to an oil and gas client base throughout the world.
