New Spatial Vessel Berthing Planner
Vessel Berthing Manager from GeoSoft Solutions of Fugro Survey Limited is now available as a PC-based software application to help manage and organise vessel activity and docking arrangements within a port.
Operating as a stand-alone product or integrated with other port management software the user friendly application provides a digital platform to which all vessel activity can be planned and recorded. The application allows vessel activity to be designed, stored and made available well in advance of the operation day, building a comprehensive picture of forthcoming vessel activity in the port for all to access.
Simple User Profiles are created to control the operation and update of Vessel Berthing Manager, so that identified users have the ability to update and make changes to the map and diary, while others simply have viewing rights.
Projected vessel activity can be published to an intranet or internet environment to inform external bodies and the general public of planned vessel movements.
