New TEI Photo Mosaic Capability

DelphMap is a mature data-fusion product that has the capability to process the many types of data taken in a given area and present them in a comprehensive picture, in correct relation to each other. With the release of the new Photo Mosaic module, digital camera images collected with an AUV or UUV are now added to the long list of data types that can be brought into this environment. High-resolution images of important localised features, broad search or detailed inspection areas can now be displayed in their correct relationship to sidescan imagery, coastline or other map data, ship tracks, target positions, bathymetry data, DTMs or sub-bottom profiles. TEI automated ortho-rectification and geo-registration algorithms ensure that the footprint of each image will be correctly registered to the underlying geographic reference system and therefore to all other data types in DelphMap. Large collections of images or single important shots are better managed in this environment because they can be stored and accessed by location.
