New Test Facilities at MacArtney A/S

In the summer and fall of 2004, MacArtney A/S built new and larger test facilities at the Headquarter in Denmark. The new pressure tank, which is built especially for the Antares Project, is 16 metre long, has a diameter of 0,24 metre and enables testing for 0-400 bars.
A new cable tension rig, properly the largest in the Denmark, is 20 meters long and have cylinders lengths of stoke of 1000 mm. The maximum pulling length is 20 m. and, at the present time, a maximum pulling capacity of 6 tons. If needed it is possible to pull with as much as 40 tons. All testing procedures are documented under our DnV certified ISO 9001:2000 QA system.
