New TOGS2 Compact and Low-cost Subsea INS

CDL’s original TOGS system was recognised as the winner of the Subsea UK’s Subsea Industry Innovation and Technical Award. In an effort to follow on from its success, CDL has designed a second-generation system known as TOGS2. TOGS2 is 40% smaller, uses 50% less energy and has more than ten times the processing power.

The system incorporates the latest iXBlue FOG IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) and is optimal for advanced INS functionality. TOGS2 has several new communication interfaces including RS232, RS485, Ethernet and USB. In addition, TOGS2 can take advantage of CDL’s SIDIUS technologies enabling some added features, such as: multiplexing for multiple ROV sensors, analogue inputs and data logging. A 0.01% FS depth sensor from CDL’s agreement with Valeport can also be added to any TOGS2 system upon client request.

CDL are excited to provide the industry with the smallest, lightest subsea FOG Gyro/INS system on the market. To get more information about TOGS2 and any of our other products please visit Booth #Q1 to speak with the staff.
