NORBIT Multibeam System for Emma Rentals

Peter Eriksen of NORBIT delivered a NORBIT iWBMS system for Emma Rentals during Oceanology International 2016. The iWBMS is the tightest-integrated high-end multibeam echosounder with built-in GNSS/INS. Several jobs have already been contracted by Emma Rentals, both for inland waterways and off the Baltic coast.

The NORBIT iWBMS system including the Applanix Wavemaster 2 OEM GNSS/INS will also serve as an important asset for Emma Technologies' research activities within the field of advanced backscatter processing. Emma Technologies, a manufacturer of ASVs/ USVs, has chosen NORBIT as the most compact and user-friendly fully integrated MBES for mobile inspections on such vehicles.
