Northstar Professional GPS/DGPS MX-500
The Northstar MX-500 GPS/DGPS display for the professional market has a built-in LAN interface that can hook up totally 4 control units, chart systems, conning display and network PC. The MX-500 is equipped with a built-in USB-plug in the front that facilitates coping, in and out, waypoints and routes, and make a back-up file of own data and settings. Compared to former models the software has been improved with an advanced function for monitoring the receiver quality, 'Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring' (R.A.I.M.). Every satellite is being quality tested before they are included in the position calculation. Display and antennas have type approvals from Det Norske Veritas, German BsH, US Coast Guard and of course IMO/Ships Wheel.
