Ocean Business Week Anticipates More than 1500 Delegates

Up to 1500 delegates are expected to attend the first Ocean Business event and plans to accommodate and cater for them are well underway. Intelligent Exhibitions Ltd are actively working with the National Oceanography Centre Southampton (NOCS), and the city of Southampton to ensure that both the venue and the city are prepared for the ocean industry's newest arrival. The organisation anticipates to host 100 exhibiting companies, more than 150 training hours, the Offshore Survey conference, and a social event during every night. The Offshore Survey conference will focus on the technology and business issues in the global field of offshore surveying and will be held on the first two days of the event. The Hydrographic Society will be holding their AGM on the last day and a number of exhibitors are inquiring about hosting agency meetings the day before we open. Ocean Business will be held at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton (UK) from 27 to 29 March 2007. Organised in partnership with the Association of Marine Scientific Industries and hosted by the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton, the event has also secured the support from the Society for Underwater Technology, the International Federation of Hydrographic Societies and IMAREST as well as all the leading industry magazines.
