Oceanteam Boosts Multraship Commander

Oceanteam have secured the 57m Multraship Commander to boost the total resource capability package available from the company to its expanding client base.
The Commander is available to support the operational activities with in-house facilities available for product enhancement and technology backup and development.
The Bureau Verities certified DP1 Multraship Commander, measures 55.34m by 11.50m, with an operating draft of 3.5m. Main propulsion supplied by twin 370 KW Stork Werkspoors, a 468 KW bow and 350KW azimuth stern thrusters.
With a capability for both DP1 and four-point mooring, the vessel is equipped for ROV operations, Oceanteam Carrera 4 trenching support and Diving support in addition to multibeam bathymetry, geophysics and shallow geotechnical operations.
All operations are controlled by Oceanteams’ in house developed Proteus II - integrated software system for the acquisition, management, and 3D visualisation of performance data. The software enables data acquisition and processing in a conventional manner, with navigation, processing, digital video & eventing, charting as an add-on package to Autodesk AutoCAD, together with 3D visualisation and data management.
In addition, the system embraces GIS, with 3D capabilities, integrated GIS/Digital Video application, and 3D visualisation package.
The vessel comprises comprehensive accommodation for 32 personnel, on board workshops and survey laboratories, Moonpool, 30 metric ton travelling gantry crane located over 3.8m x 3.8m Moonpool, this in addition to a 5 metric ton single boom aft mounted swivel crane, over stern 5 ton A Frame and 250 square meters working deck area (MT/m2) for additional equipment and containerised spreads.
