Offshore Success in US
Electro-Flow Controls (EFC) has announced continuing success in the US market, with its Houston office securing new work worth more than USD500,000 already this year to build on orders worth USD3.5million won in 2008. EFC has also transferred Donna Stewart from Aberdeen to Houston to take on the role of business development manager to drive further sales and growth.
Major projects secured by the Houston operation include:

- BOP control systems for Halliburton, Shell, Dolphin Drilling and Fairfield Energy.
- Customised choke control systems for Brazilian rig upgrades for clients including Petrobras and Transocean.
- And systems for a Frontier semi-sub being commissioned in a Louisiana yard at present.
