Online, Interactive ADCP/DVL Instruction
Utilising WebEx technology, RD Instruments has implemented a new and innovative e-learning program designed to provide its customers with ongoing internet-based ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler) and DVL (Doppler Velocity Log) training. All courses are fully interactive and include a visual presentation, accompanied by real time communication between RDI’s instructors and the course attendees.
Designated as RDI University, this program allows busy ADCP and DVL users to attend these free courses via the internet from the comfort of their own office. Each course is led by a highly qualified trainer from the RDI staff, with 40 minutes dedicated to course instruction, followed by 20 minutes of topical discussion, questions and answers.
Courses have been designed to cover a wide array of timely and interesting topics including RDI’s hardware, software, data analysis, and field applications, as well as tips and tricks to make data collection easier and more efficient. These online courses will be geared toward a wide variety of users, from those with little or no experience to the field expert.
