Operations Manager for Swathe Services
Swathe Services (UK) has appointed Andy Johnson as operations manager. He will take over the day to day management of survey support operations, personnel and rental equipment, whilst continuing to build the company's international client base.
Andy's 25 year career in the marine industry has taken him around the world where he has gained valuable experience in a variety of geo-spatial environments whilst excelling in technical project management, team building and customer liaison. He is a well known figure within the marine survey industry and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and hands on experience.
Andy's career includes various geodetic and GIS based roles within the UKHO, liaison with the Royal Navy to help improve practises and procedures, Senior Surveyor at the Hydrographic office of Bahrain and a successful career as a consultant Hydrographer. Andy will be a valuable asset to Swathe Services as we continue with our planned programme of expansion and development.
